Joe McNab

The 2019 season will be the first for coach Joe McNab.

McNab arrives from Benedictine University, where he worked as the assistant women's soccer coach this past season. Prior to Benedictine, McNab spent two seasons with Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga. as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. A native of Manchester, England, McNab enjoyed an extensive professional playing career, extending over 100 games and two continents. He played for both Manchester City and Portsmouth in England from 1994 through 2001 before coming to the United States and winning a USL national championship with the Utah Blitzz in Salt Lake City in 2001. He won his second USL championship in as many years with the Long Island Rough Riders in 2002, and also played for the USL's Syracuse Salty Dogs and Wilmington Hammerheads. 

McNab holds a coaching certificate from the Football Association in England and a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma. He currently works as the assistant director of coaching for the Chicago Fire Juniors City Girls program.
