North Park University Athletics

The 2024-25 season will be the fifth season on the NPU women's basketball coaching staff and third as a full-time assistant coach for Coach Ervin.  

Ervin was a four-year letter winner at Division III Defiance College.  At Defiance, Ervin played in 103 games averaging 9.3 points per game.  Ervin garnered HCAC All-Freshman team accolades, and was selected to the HCAC all-Honorable Mention and All-Sportsmanship teams as a senior. The Yellow Jacket center recorded four double-doubles, and led the Yellow Jackets in rebounds in her junior and senior seasons.  

Before her career at Defiance College, Ervin attended Elmwood High School, in Bloomdale, Ohio where she lettered two years in basketball and one year in track.  During her career at Elmwood, Ervin gathered two All-District 7 and second-team All-Northern Buckeye Conference selections in her junior and senior seasons. Additionally, Ervin earned honorable mention All-Wood County accolades as a junior and as a senior, she garnered honorable mention All-Northwest Ohio honors.

Ervin graduated Defiance with a degree in early childhood education and intervention specialization.
