Kris Grahn enters his seventh season at the helm of North Park Men's Soccer in 2025 after guiding the Vikings to another NCAA qualifying season in 2024.

In his first season leading the Vikings, Grahn guided his team to a 2019 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) league title and a CCIW Tournament championship before being named the CCIW Co-Coach of the Year. Grahn followed that performance up in 2021 with a NCAA Quarterfinals finish, as well as another league title. He has led the Vikings to NCAA Tournament appearances in each of his five seasons.

Beginning his Viking coaching career as a graduate assistant in 2011, he transitioned to a full-time position in 2013, helping guide North Park to back-to-back conference titles in 2017 and 2018. Grahn also helped assist the program's highest-finishing team in 2017, finalizing the season as the NCAA Division III National Runner-Up with a record of 20-2-2. The decorated season included a league title, CCIW tournament championship, seven All-CCIW selections (including Newcomer and Player of the Year), four All-Region picks, and a First Team All-American selection.

One of the most decorated soccer players in North Park history, Grahn was a member of the 2010 CCIW championship team, garnering Player of the Year honors that same season. Grahn scored the game-winning goal in both the conference final and in North Park's first-ever NCAA playoff win. During his illustrious career, he was named a CCIW First Team selection and All-Region selection in each of his four years. Additionally, Grahn was as a D3soccer.com All-American in 2010 and a NSCAA All-American in 2011.

Grahn appears in numerous categories within the Viking men's soccer record books. He is first in career assists (25) and career points (95), tied for second all-time in career goals scored (35), and marked back-to-back of nine assists in 2009 and 2010, a single-season eighth-best.
