Craig Buhler joined the NPU coaching staff in the summer of 2026.
Craig is a sport psychology and education professional passionate about mentoring student-athletes, guiding them through their academic, athletic, and personal development. Upon graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology and entrepreneurship, he moved to Chicago to pursue a master’s degree in Performance, Sport, and Exercise Psychology at the University of Illinois Chicago.
Recently, he gained work experience in Manchester, England, serving as an educational consultant, helping students and athletes study and play in the United States. Skilled in applying evidence-based coaching, mental performance training, and holistic development, with experience supporting youth and elite performers across multiple sports,
Craig aims to provide individualized experiences rooted in empathy, integrity, and professionalism. His overarching goal is to help others cultivate flexible mindsets that yield high-quality life experiences, now studying to complete a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.Â
