North Park University Athletics

Coach Andy Hayes (C'12 BTS, Youth Ministry, S'16 MDiv and G’16 MNA) begins his third season as an assistant coach for the Viking men's golf team.

Hayes was a four-year letter winner and four-time Academic All-CCIW recipient in his time at North Park. In addition to coaching the team, he works at The Golf Practice, a golf academy in Highland Park, Ill.,, giving private instruction, helping run advanced programming, and hosting TGP's podcast. 

Andy has found that there is no feeling like a well-struck golf shot. It gives the sense, just for a moment, that all is right in the world. He enjoys finding all the different ways that golf and life overlap, and helping people see that golf is more than just a game.

Hayes and Head Coach Rob Anderson played two seasons together for the Vikings.  Andy and his wife Jenny (C'12) live in Evanston, Ill.
