High School: Was a three-year letter winner as an offensive lineman for the football team…Served as the team’s captain his senior year…Earned All-Northern State Conference honors as well as Michigan City News Dispatch All-Area First Team, LaPorte Herald All-Area First Team and South Bend Tribune All-Area 3A his senior year…Was elected to play in Sportsfest All-Star game sponsored by the South Bend Tribune.
