North Park University Athletics

Coach Mathias Durie enters his first year as a graduate assistant coach for the North Park University football team in 2021.

Durie spent a year as the offensive assistant and tight ends coach for Minneapolis North Football prior to joining the Viking coaching staff. While working for Minneapolis North, he assisted in play calling, development of tight ends, the offensive line, and wide receivers, and helped oversee academic development.

Additionally, Durie brings a skillset of video editing, social media management, and graphic design to NPU. Most recently, he worked as the videographer for Sanctuary Covenant Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he shot and edited high-quality video to be used on social media or in-service presentations.

Durie played football as a tight end for Division III Bethel University where he was a two-year starter and All-Conference player in his senior season.
