Walton enters his first season as the receivers and strength and conditioning coach. A former team captain, three-year letter winner and three-time Tenacity Award winner for Butler University’s defense, Walton brings a solid background to the Viking program. After serving as a defensive graduate assistant for his alma mater, he went on to serve as the defensive backs and special teams and recruiting coordinator for Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts where he was responsible for performance training of all student-athletes while developing an annual defensive and special teams playbook among other duties. Recently he has coached at St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin as an assistant where he helped lead the Lancers to the state finals of the WIAA playoffs all while developing and implementing all off-season strength and condition and performance programs for student-athletes.
