The 2024 season will be the sixth for Coach Jason Stapf. Stapf was promoted to Assistant Head Coach in the spring of 2023 and currently oversees academic success and specializes in the development of the defensive line.

Prior to joining the Vikings, Stapf served at a variety of positions at Concordia Lutheran High School (TX), including: special teams coordinator, offensive/defensive line coach, strength & conditioning coach, and head softball coach. During his time at Concordia Lutheran, Stapf assisted in developing an increase of 108% in passing yards and 32% in running yards. Additionally, he guided 42 All-District selections, 11 All-State selections, and 32 All-Academic recipients.

Prior to Concordia Lutheran, Stapf was the head football coach at first-year program Salem Lutheran School (TX). 

Stapf holds a degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University.
