Chase Murdock

Chase Murdock enters his second season coaching with the North Park football team in 2020. He will serve as the defensive coordinator while also developing NPU linebackers.

Murdock has experience coaching at both the high school and collegiate level, recently spending a season as the linebackers coach at the University of St. Thomas. His impact on the Tommie football program was immediately evident, as St. Thomas finished the 2018 season with the nation's fourth-best defense.

Prior to coaching the Tommies, Murdock spent a season as the defensive coordinator at St. Viator High School, helping lead the team to back-to-back state playoff appearances in over a decade.

Murdock was a middle linebacker at the University of Toledo from 2012-2016, appearing in 48 regular season games with three college bowl game appearances. In 2013, Murdock finished in the top 20 for total tackles, ranked second in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) with 9.9 tackles per game, and was a First And Monday (FAM) sophomore All-American selection.

Murdock graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2016.
