2025: Named a Second Team All-CCIW linebacker ...

All-CCIW writeup: Smith was the catalyst for disrupting backfields all season for North Park, leading all Vikings players in tackles for loss with 6.5 (12th in the CCIW) and sacks with 3, and he was second in quarterback hurries with 3 behind defensive lineman Dylan Hughes' 4.  Smith had 36 total tackles (24 solo, 12 assisted), forced a fumble, recovered 2 fumbles, and blocked a punt this season. 

2024: Appearing in all 10 games, Smith posted 7 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble ... On the season, he totaled 35 tackles (15 solo, 20 assisted) – impressive stats for someone who owned their role on the Viking defense, a role that asked him to take on pulling guards and tackles opening lanes for teammates Bender and Miller to clean up ... Six tackles at Augustana (Oct. 5) and forced a fumble against WashU (Nov. 9).

2023: Made 37 tackles including 22 solo … Credited with 2.5 tackles for a loss of five yards and assisted on 3-yard sack … Had a pass breakup at Elmhurst (Nov. 4) … In on seven tackles twice – at WashU (Sept. 30) and against Illinois Wesleyan (Oct. 14) … Four solo tackles against WashU. 

2022: Enjoyed a standout freshman campaign, becoming the Vikings' second-leading tackler with 52 (31 solo) ... 2.5 tackles went for a loss of three yards and he continued to terrorize his opposition by breaking up three passes, picking one off, forced a fumble, and recovered two ... Against WashU, he forced and recovered a fumble while securing a season-high 10 tackles at Illinois Wesleyan ... Had 6+ tackles in five different games ... Intercepted a pass and returned it 23 yards against Carthage (10/8).
