At the 2017 PGA Show Foresight Sports released its newest launch monitor technology. Their GC Quad is now the world’s first quadrascopic launch monitor. The Quad has been rated an Editor’s Choice Best Launch Monitor for two years running (2017 & 2018) by Golf Digest. It has quickly become one of the top launch monitors within the game of golf, trusted by many tour professionals, instructional professionals, fitting professionals and club analysts. Shortly after their release of the GC Quad, Foresights Sports install team was on campus to complete a full simulator install within Helwig Recreation Center. “The Quad is an incredible tool and we’re fortunate to have it in our mix of practice options. This devoted golf practice space will give our guys a chance to analyze their ball and club metrics, make adjustments and track their progress. They are quickly learning how their swing path affects the spin and flight of their shots. The driving range, skills challenges and courses give them a variety of ways to practice. The benefit of having this practice option on-campus, in Helwig, will be huge for our team moving forward,” said Head Coach Rob Anderson.
GC Quad tracking capabilities include: ball speed, club speed, launch angles, spin rates, clubface rotation, impact location and angle of attack. Indoor/Outdoor capabilities, wireless enabled.
