CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park Men's Soccer sophomore defender David Tracewicz scored in each of North Park's wins last week, leading to College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Defensive Player of the Week honors on Tuesday morning. 

Tracewicz tallied the first goal of his North Park career in the Vikings' 2-0 win at Kalamazoo on Wednesday. He added another goal in Saturday's 3-0 win at Trine.

The sophomore from Franklin Park, Illinois also made a significant impact on the defensive side, allowing only five shots on goal against the Hornets and a pair against the Thunder. Tracewicz guided North Park to its fourth and fifth consecutive shutouts, logging 159 minutes of field time in his first and second career starts.

Tracewicz and North Park (4-1-2) are finally back home at the Holmgren Athletic Complex on Wednesday, September 23, to take on the Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks. Kickoff in Chicago is set for 7:00 PM CT.
