ELMHURST, Ill. -- North Park University women's basketball concluded its 2025-26 season with a 74-63 road loss to Elmhurst University on Saturday afternoon.
Elmhurst opened the game with a strong first quarter, taking a 25-8 lead that North Park was unable to erase despite a late offensive surge. The Vikings outscored the Bluejays 27–15 in the fourth quarter but ultimately came up short.
First-year guard Aliyah Hershberger led North Park with 21 points, shooting 9-of-16 from the field. Shay Bowen added 14 points and a team-high 8 rebounds, while Caroline Long contributed 13 points and 7 rebounds. North Park finished the afternoon shooting 23-of-58 overall, including seven made three-pointers.
Elmhurst was paced by Anna Kleszynski, who posted a 22-point, 11-rebound double-double. The Bluejays shot 53 percent from the field and held a 46–24 advantage in points in the paint.
North Park concludes the season 5–20 overall and 1–15 in CCIW play, looking to rest and rebuild this upcoming offseason.
