MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The North Park University men's volleyball team dropped two non-conference matches on Saturday afternoon, falling to Wittenberg University and host Milwaukee School of Engineering at the Kern Center.
North Park opened the day against Wittenberg and suffered a 3–0 loss by set scores of 25-20, 25-14, and 25-9. Wittenberg hit .403 as a team for the match and recorded 37 kills. Eli Halverson led Wittenberg with 15 kills on .733 hitting. North Park was held to a -.035 team hitting percentage and totaled 22 kills. Freshman setter Gino Hamoy finished with eight digs and a service ace, while senior outside hitter Adekunle Adebayo led North Park with three kills and added a solo block.
In the second match, North Park fell to MSOE in straight sets, 25-22, 25-15, and 25-16. MSOE recorded a .214 team hitting percentage and finished with 48 kills. Adebayo led North Park with eight kills, while sophomore middle blocker Giovanni Serafini added seven kills on .600 hitting. The Vikings totaled 19 kills and hit .033 as a team. Senior defensive specialist Zachary Hayden recorded 16 digs in the match to lead North Park defensively.

North Park (1-6) is back in action on Tuesday, February 3, traveling to face Benedictine University. First serve in the Dan and Ada Rice Center is set for 7:00 PM CT.
