BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The North Park University Men's Volleyball team returned to CCIW action against Illinois Wesleyan University (12-8, 2-4 CCIW) on Wednesday night at the Shirk Center. Despite a strong start, the Vikings fell to the Titans in four sets (25-21, 21-25, 18-25, 16-25).
Set 1: North Park 25, Illinois Wesleyan 21
North Park came out strong in the first set, totaling their best hitting percentage of the evening at .250 while adding a dozen kills and just four errors. Meanwhile, the Titans were held to their lowest hitting percentage at .114, due to nine attacking errors.
Set 2: Illinois Wesleyan 25, North Park 21
Illinois Wesleyan bounced back in the second set, winning 25-21. The Titans drove 11 kills while maintaining a hitting percentage of .421, limiting attack errors to only three.
