BELOIT, Wis. -- North Park Women's Basketball returns to action after a long break away from intercollegiate competition looking to extend their winning streak to three games. The Vikings (3-7, 0-2 CCIW) are coming off wins in Hawaii against Loras and Blackburn and now turns their attention to a road contest with Beloit on Tuesday afternoon.

The Buccaneers (4-6, 1-1 MWC) are coming off a disheartening loss to Aurora in their last contest on December 17, falling to the Spartans 91-43, suffering 34 turnovers. Beloit is led in scoring by senior forward Hailey Johnson, who averages 12.8 points per game with all but three of her 39 field goals registering inside the perimeter. Kaitlin Davis is the top rebounder (6.7 rpg) and also sets up the action with 21 assists.

North Park's trip to the Aloha State is just what the Vikings needed, cruising in a pair of wins. Junior forward Caroline Long spearheaded that effort with a double-double against Blackburn (16pts, 10reb) and a season second-best 19 points against Loras. She added five assist and three steals in the trip. Senior guard Kathryn Keehn and junior guard Aliyah Hershberger also reached double figure scoring totals in both games.

Hershberger leads NPU in scoring with 14.1ppg, joined in double figure averages by Long (13.5) and Keehn (11.1). Sophomore guard Aliesha Peterson sets the table with 21 assists while senior forward Shay Bowen disrupts opposing offenses with 19 steals.

Tipoff at Beloit's Flood Arena on Tuesday, December 30,  is set for 1:00 PM CT.
