NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Park's Kolden Vanlandingham earned his second Player of the Week this season, with the College Conference (CCIW) of Illinois and Wisconsin making the announcement on Monday afternoon. His performances over the Vikings' 2-1 stretch were vital to their success dropping 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in their 138-117 win over Greenville University on Monday, December 15th, a game where the Vikings set a program record in total points.
Just a couple of days later, Vanlandingham became only the fourth player in North Park Men's Basketball history to record a triple-double when he logged 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 steals in their 108-86 win over Cornell College. He now is the first player in the CCIW to record a triple-double since 2021 and only the 8th player to do so in CCIW history.
North Park will look to Vanlandingham to continue his high level of play after the holiday break when they host Concordia University Chicago on Tuesday, December 30th at 4pm.
