CHICAGO, Ill. -- Senior guard Kolden Vanlandingham's standalone performance against UW-Stevens Point last week saw him earn College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon. He received more exclusive honors early Tuesday morning, landing on the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week.
Vanlandingham led North Park to a triple-overtime win over UW-Stevens Point on Saturday, posting career highs in points and assists, with 39 and 10 respectively. 24 of those 39 points arrived in a pivotal second half to help the Vikings climb back from down 17 points to force extra play en route to the win. He was the focal point of the offense throughout the game, shooting 61% from the field and 50% (5-10) from the three point line. He also had two steals in the game.
Vanlandingham and the Vikings are back in action on Wednesday, December 3, for a game at Carroll University.
