CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park Women's Basketball fell to the North Central Cardinals in their final College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) game of 2025, 79-58.
North Park was led in scoring by junior forward Caroline Long, who turned in a game second-best 21 points, only outdone by North Central's Biz Daly, who had 22. Long also led North Park with five rebounds while junior guard Naomi Kaskavitch had a pair of blocked shots.
The Cardinals generated44 points int he paint and utilized 20 second-chance points, out-rebounding North Park 31-23. Three Cards scored in double figures including Jocelyn Trotter trending near a double-double.
North Park's best chance arrived in the third quarter when they outscored North Central 17-15 by shooting 60% from the field (6-10) but NCC generated their best 10 minutes in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.

North Park (1-7, 0-2 CCIW) is back in action next Tuesday, December 16, to begin a two-game stretch in Hawaii. The Vikings start with Loras on Tuesday, 1:00 PM HT.
