CHICAGO, Ill. -- North Park Women's Tennis continues its unblemished season with a 7-0 win over Carthage College on a warm Wednesday afternoon. The 7-0 victory is the Vikings' third sweep of the season.
North Park blasted through doubles play once more. #1 doubles of Alexandra Ristfeldt and Katja Carlberg swept through their doubles opponent.

#2 doubles of Hanna Zethraeus and Emilia Sand picked up a strong 6-2.

#3 doubles of Maddie Starr and Alexandra Pugachova had a tighter contest at 6-4, but made a statement heading into singles play.

Pugachova would showcase the most dominant singles play of the afternoon with 6-2, 6-0 wins.

Ristfeldt beat her opponent 6-3, 6-2 at #2 singles and Emilia Sand was similarly cruising with a 6-2, 6-4 win. Starr joined the fun with a 6-3, 6-2 win at #6 singles and #1 singles Zethraeus and #3 Carlberg took extra points but managed respective victories of 6-1, 0-6, 6-3 and 7-5, 6-4.


What's Next?
North Park (6-0, 5-0 CCIW) gets the chance to compete at the ITA Regionals in Kalamazoo, Michigan among DIII's top teams on the campus of Kalamazoo College. The regional will run from Friday, September 27 through Sunday, September 29. Final schedule is yet to be released.
