DECATUR, Ill. -- The North Park women's basketball team had the tall task of back-to-back nationally-ranked opponents, following up No. 10 Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday with No. 18 Millikin on Saturday afternoon. The Big Blue pulled away big early, winning this one 100-62.
From the opening tip, Millikin seemed to have the edge over the Vikings. Senior guard Victoria Perry led the way for the Vikings with 28 points but it wasn't enough to keep up with the high-powered offense of the now 13-3 Millikin team that shot nearly 60% from the field. Millikin caused North Park to turn the ball over 24 times and totaled 19 assists to the Vikings' 3. Senior guard Elisha Dunlap added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the Vikings.  Â
