ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- North Park drops to 2-2 (1-2 CCIW) following a 41-7 loss in St. Louis against the WashU Bears (4-0) on Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings were not able to get the run game going, only totaling a net of 36 yards against a stout WashU defense. The Bears scored first within the first five minutes of the game; North Park responded with a passing touchdown from junior quarterback Matt Eck to fifth-year receiver AJ Harris with just under two minutes to go in the first quarter. Just as the Vikings tied the game, their kickoff was returned the distance for another Bear touchdown, making it 14-7. From there, it was all WashU.
