ELMHURST, Ill. – The North Park men's basketball team came up short in a battle with Elmhurst University Saturday evening, losing 89-59.
Both teams shot the ball fairly well, but the three-point shooting seemed to write the difference in the ballgame. The Bluejays shots 42% from behind-the-arc making six more threes than the visiting Vikings. Elmhurst also was able to take control of glass, outrebounding North Park by 20.
Quick Hits:
- Gabe Johnson, Izaiah Sanders, and Jalen Boyd all reached double figures, scoring 14, 12, and 10, respectively.
- Sanders also brought his defensive acumen to the contest, grabbing four steals.

The Vikings (8-9, 3-6 CCIW) will head to North Central College (12-5, 7-2 CCIW) on Monday, January 31st. Tipoff for that game is scheduled for 7 PM.
