CHICAGO, Ill. – The North Park men's basketball team fell behind early and couldn't mount a comeback Saturday evening, in a 76-59 loss to the Carroll Pioneers.
After a tough first half that saw the Vikings fall victim to multiple runs by the Pios, North Park utilized a tremendous effort to not let Carroll get any further in the second half. Anthony Diaz were continual thorns in the side of the Pioneers as Diaz finished multiple difficult shots, and Bulwa capitalized with a pair of and-ones and a thunderous slam dunk. North Park outscored Carroll in the second half, but it wasn't enough to overcome their halftime deficit.

- Michael Osborne led the Vikings with 15 points, he tacked on four rebounds and four assists as well.
- Bulwa finished with 14, while Diaz had 10.

North Park (7-6, 3-3 CCIW) will host the No. 3 ranked Illinois Wesleyan (11-2, 4-1 CCIW) on Wednesday, January 19th. That tipoff is set for 7 PM at NPU Gymnasium.
