CHICAGO, Ill. – North Park women's basketball doubled the output of the Olivet College Comets on Saturday afternoon, earning a 92-46 win at home. The Vikings' 92 points is their highest total since February 20, 2016 where they scored an even 100.
North Park held control in every minute of the game, outscoring Olivet 21-13, 18-5, 26-12, and 27-16. These scoring rushes were well-rounded, as they scored 34 points off turnovers, 35 points from the bench, and 42 points in the paint. Additionally, the Vikings knocked down 11 three pointers, including four from Lauren Lee.
North Park's defensive pressure contributed significantly to the win, holding their turnovers to single digits (8) while forcing their opponent to turn the ball over 30 times. 25 of those turnovers were steals by a variety of Vikings, including a career high seven for Esther Miller.
