ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The North Park University women's soccer team ended its season with a 2-1 loss to Augustana College on Saturday. The Vikings scored a goal in each of their last five games to round out the 2021 campaign.
The first half of soccer featured 12 shots from Augustana, but a scoreless tie despite the team's efforts. Senior keeper Theresa Weiss recorded eight saves in the half.
North Park's Agnes Bohlin registered the lone NPU goal in the 79th minute, as two second-half goals from Augustana early in the half vaulted the host Vikings over the visiting Vikings.
North Park ends the season with a 3-14-1 record and looks to build on a young core of talented, motivated student-athletes in 2022.
