ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The North Park University men's basketball team fell to the Augustana College Vikings, 96-73, concluding their season on Saturday night.
North Park showed well in the first half, holding a seven-point lead four minutes in thanks to a jumper by junior guard Izaiah Sanders and six-straight points from sophomore guard Alex Flute.
However, once NPU lost its lead, the Rock Island Vikings controlled the rest of the game.
Augie shot a blistering 64.5% (20-for-31) from the field while knocking down five 3-pointers in the second half to top North Park, 96-73.
