NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The North Park University men's basketball team fell to the 13th-ranked North Central College Cardinals, 90-66, on Saturday night.
North Central controlled the game early, marking the first nine points of the game, before leading by a large margin of 18-2.
In the half, North Central shot a blistering 70% (21-30) from the field and 60% (6-10) beyond the arc to lead, 51-30, at halftime. Freshman guard Jalen Wilmington led the Vikings with eight points off the bench.

The Cardinals cooled off in the second half, falling back down to earth with a 43.8 shooting percentage (14-32). Unfortunately, the early margin carried the Cardinals through the end of the game, as North Central beat North Park 90-66.
