AURORA, Ill. – Following a long, two-week break from competition, the North Park University men's volleyball team fell to the Aurora University Spartans in straight sets (25-9, 25-19, 250 on Saturday afternoon.

Aurora held North Park to single digits in the opening set, out-hitting the Vikings .500 to -.143. The Spartans also drove three service aces while forcing nine attack errors to handily take the opening set, 25-9.

North Park's second set was significantly better than the opener. The Vikings raised their hitting percentage to .235 while limiting their attacking errors to just four. However, six service aces and a .393 hitting percentage by the Spartans gave Aurora a 25-19 third-set victory.

Aurora completed the sweep in the final set, maintaining their steady offense while adding four blocks. Despite a close 25-20 third set, the Vikings fell at Aurora University, 3-0.
