MOLINE, Ill. -- The North Park University women's tennis team lost a league match to Augustana College at the Quad City Tennis Club on Sunday.
In doubles action, Augustana took the three matches 2-8, 3-8, 0-8 and led North Park 0-3 going into singles action.

In singles action, North Park dropped the first two matches in straight-set decisions. In the singles #3 match, freshman Patrycja Miazek fell in her first set 1-6 and then came back to win the second set 6-4 to force a third set. In the third set, Miazek competed hard to force a tiebreak. Unfortunately, Miazek fell in the third set 11-13.
The Vikings would drop the next three singles matches and get shut out by Augustana, 0-9.
