ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The North Park University men's volleyball team dropped a straight-sets match to the Fontbonne University Griffins (16-25, 21-25, 20-25) on Friday night.
The Vikings hit an even .000 in the first and second sets of the match, marking eight kills in the first set and six kills in the second set.
Conversely, the Griffins hit .333 in the first set and .229 in the second set with 14 and 16 kills, respectively.
The Griffins also carried 42 digs, 44 assists, and seven blocks.
Despite an improved NPU hitting percentage in the third set, .179, the Vikings fell to the Griffins in straight sets.
