BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The North Park University men's basketball team fell to the Illinois Wesleyan University Titans, 66-111, on Wednesday night.
The Titans posted near-identical halves of play, with a 54-point showing in the first half and a 57-point showing in the second half. That first half of play, the Titans could not miss. The IWU offense shot an electric 23-32 (71.9%) from the field while knocking down 7 three-pointers.
Two Vikings, sophomore guard Toby Marek and junior forward Vegard Tangen marked double-digit points in the first half with 11 and 10, respectively.
North Park was not able to play catch up, down 27-54 at the half, and fell to Illinois Wesleyan 66-111.
