WHEATON, Ill. -- The North Park University men's basketball team fell to the Wheaton College Thunder, 84-50, inside King Arena on Saturday night.
The Vikings played the Thunder tough in the early minutes of the first half, trailing by just three points at 13-10. Junior forward Matt Szuba accounted for six of the first 10 points for the Vikings with a pair of three-pointers.
Unfortunately, the 2019 NCAA Tournament semifinalists found their footing to pull ahead by a wide margin of 44-24 at halftime. In the half, Wheaton shot 6-for-8 from the three-point line.

Wheaton piled on in the second half, shooting 51.7% from the field and a blistering 57.1% beyond the arc, to earn a convincing 84-50 win over the Vikings.
