RACINE, Wis. -- The North Park University women's tennis team fell to the Carthage College Lady Reds 0-9 at the Racine Tennis Club on Wednesday.
In the first doubles match, senior Linn Viuhkonen and freshman Patrycja Miazek were competitive, but fell 4-8. The Vikings dropped the other two doubles matches 3-8 and 2-8.

After the Vikings dropped the singles #1 and #2 matches, Miazek fell in the first set 0-6. However, Miazek came back and won the second set, 6-3, to force a third set. Ultimately, Sam Ramsey, Miazek's opponent, won the deciding third set 10-6 to take the match.
The Vikings suffered setbacks in the final three matches and fell to the Lady Reds, 0-9.
