ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The North Park University football team suffered a 71-0 loss to the Augustana College Vikings on Saturday afternoon.
In the first quarter, Augie scored a pair of touchdowns on the ground and a pair of touchdowns in the air to grab an early 27-0 lead.
Augustana piled on in the second and third quarters with 20 and 21 points, respectively to put the game out of reach.
Augie utilized 537 yards of offense, marking 318 passing yards and five rushing touchdowns while holding the North Park offense to just 90 yards

- In his return to the gridiron, senior captain Gary Anish had seven tackles

North Park (0-6, 0-5 CCIW) returns home this coming Saturday, October 26, to host Carroll University. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at the Holmgren Athletic Complex.
