After losing tough matches to both Augustana (9-0) and Wheaton (9-0) in the conference, the Vikings came out with a whole different attitude and it showed as they earned five of the six singles match victories and three by straight-set wins.
"It's great to have this win near the end of our fall season, to confirm what we have been seeing in our team's ability," Vikings' head coach Karl Clifton-Soderstrom said. "It also shows the overall strength of the CCIW conference this year in comparison to other regional DIII conferences.  I'm proud of our ability to compete in this conference, and to raise our own game because of it."
