The number 1,401 doesn't mean much to junior Juwan Henry as long as the number 11 adds up to the result.

North Park earned its 11th win of the season Saturday night staving off a late Millikin rally to earn a 77-71 triumph, and Henry etched his name in the NPU career record books as he took over 10th all-time on the scoring list at 1,401 points.

Henry poured in a game-high 26 points, his 10th game this season of scoring 20 or more and his 16th-straight double-digit performance, but more importantly he helped the visitors hold on to the victory with a key assist to sophomore Colin Lake who buried a three-pointer with 21 seconds left after Millikin trimmed an 11-point North Park advantage down to a one-possession game in the last 10 minutes of the contest.

After Michael Hutchinson's free throws made it a 69-60 advantage for NP with 2:20 remaining, Millikin used a 9-3 scoring run to whittle the Viking lead to 72-69 with 49 seconds left. But Lake's clutch three, coupled with two free throws from T.J. Cobbs put NP in control for its third CCIW win of the season.

Lake, who also ended the first half with his first three-pointer of the game to give NP a 35-29 edge at the break, finished with nine points as he connected for three three-pointers and had two assists. The Vikings overcame a slow start as they fell behind 8-0 and later 10-4 with a 12-6 spurt in the final 6:51 of the first half.

Along with Henry, three other Vikings finished in double-figure scoring led by both 11 points from Hutchinson and Jordan Robinson. Cobbs added 10 points to go along with five steals as the Vikings forced 15 turnovers and scored 21 points off the turnovers. NP also had six offensive rebounds which led to 11 second chance points. TJ Sims led Millikin with 25 points.

North Park (11-5, 3-2) returns to action Wednesday night when it travels to Elmhurst College for a 7 p.m. contest.
