North Park University celebrates the 35th anniversary of its third NCAA National Men's Basketball Championship with this Classic Rewind of the Vikings' 83-76 victory over Upsala College in Rock Island, Illinois on the campus of Augustana College in one of the first-ever broadcasts for ESPN March 20, 1980.

Led by 18 points from Modzel 'Bud' Greer and a double-double of 17 points and 11 assists from point guard Mike Thomas, NP capped off the 1979-80 season with its third-straight NCAA Division III crown and a 28-3 overall record.
