Led by 16 points from Brandon Motzel, Augustana shot nearly 55 percent in an 88-51 victory over visiting North Park Saturday night in CCIW action.

Freshman Jordan Robinson led the Vikings with 12 points on 5 of 14 shooting, including a three-pointer. Both sophomore Juwan Henry and Michael Hutchinson added nine points each, and freshman Colin Lake tallied eight points as the Vikings moved their overall record to 8-5 and 0-3 in the conference.

Augustana led wire-to-wire, opening up as much as a 39-point advantage late in the contest. AC held a 47-24 advantage at halftime after shooting a blistering 58 percent in the first half.

Despite the loss, 14 different Vikings saw playing time and all but five scored. Matt McNamara came off the bench to score six points as he connected on 2 of his 3 shots and was a perfect 2 of 2 from the free throw line.

North Park returns to action this Monday night when it steps out of conference action to host Dayspring Bible College at 7 p.m.
