Tyus Alcorn

The 2019 season will be the first for Coach Tyus Alcorn.

Alcorn’s primary responsibility is the development of wide receivers for the North Park University football team.

A native of Lexington, Kentucky,  Alcorn has recently coached at Trine University where he also served as the wide receivers coach. During his time at Trine, Alcorn developed a First Team MIAA tight end in Elijah Klepper and a Second Team All-American in Jeffrey Barnett.

As a student-athlete at Campbellsville University, Alcorn earned a degree in criminal justice and enjoyed a successful football career. 

Alcorn was a two-time First Team All-NAIA Mid-South Conference honoree and a two-time First Team All-NCCAA selection. He was also awarded the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2016.

In three seasons at Campbellsville, Alcorn caught 121 receptions for 2,103 yards (17.4 yards per reception) with 36 touchdowns in 26 games.  Alcorn holds the school's all-time mark in TD receptions (36) and the single-season TD reception record with 19 which he set during the 2015 season.
