GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The North Park University women's soccer team dropped a 10-1 decision to the DePauw University Tigers at Reavis Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Vikings opened the scoring in the first half. In the sixth minute, junior Lorena Soria was fouled just outside of the box and awarded a short free kick. Soria took advantage of this opportunity, chipping the ball past the Tiger goalkeeper to give the Vikings an early lead. Unfortunately, the Viking lead was short-lived as the Tigers scored the equalizer 14 seconds later. tying the match at one. The Tigers scored four more goals in the first half and led 5-1 moving to halftime.

The Tigers kept piling on in the second half, marking five more goals as the Vikings could not manage a second-half shot.
