Visiting Team Information
North Park University is pleased to welcome visiting teams to our campus and the city of Chicago. Please read our Visiting Team Guide for helpful information as you plan your trip to our campus, and complete details on amenities we offer and options in the surrounding neighborhood.
Of special note are the athletic training facilities that are available to visiting teams. The main athletic training room is located on the lower level of Carlson Tower at the corner of Foster and Kedzie Avenues. This facility is fully equipped with the following:
- Dynatron 4-channel EMS/US machine
- Vectra Genisys 4-channel EMS/US machine
- Hydrocollator
- Paraffin bath
- Whirlpools
- Treatment tables
- A taping area
On the sidelines or on the bench, you will find water, water bottles/cups, towels (except football), injury ice and wrap, a biohazard bin, biohazard supplies, splints, AED, and a spineboard. For football, all of the above will be provided plus a treatment table, walkie-talkie to our sideline, ambulance coverage, and a physician on-site.
If your team is traveling without a Certified Athletic Trainer and needs treatments or has special requests, please contact the head athletic trainer, Justin Sjovall, so we can prepare to most effectively handle your needs.
