Shain Steps Up as Women's Basketball Assistant Head Coach

2017-2018 graduate assistant coach, Annie Shain, has been named the North Park women's basketball assistant head coach and Director of Student-Athlete Support Services.

Following her graduation from North Park, Coach Shain spent the 2016-2017 season as an assistant coach at Benedictine University.

Coach Shain played high school basketball at Wheaton-Warrenville South, where she was a four-year varsity starter and captain of the 2011 DVC championship team. She was an honorable mention all-conference and all-area selection in both her junior and senior seasons. Coach Shain continued her education and basketball career at North Park, where she was a four-year letter winner and two-year captain. She ranks 5th all-time in three-point field goal percentage and three-pointers made. Coach Shain was also a Female Sportsperson of the year nominee her senior season.
