CHICAGO, IL - Sophomore right-hander Matt Pizur has been named week 4's CCIW Pitcher of the Week.

Pizur fans a Warrior hitter on March 15th in Fort Myers, FL

Pizur earned this honor after tossing a complete game shutout in a 7-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran this past Thursday. His 9-inning performance featured three strikeouts and only three hits allowed. 

On top of tossing 9 zeroes on the board, Pizur did not allow a walk during his outing.

Pizur currently carries a team-best 1.78 ERA on the season, while opponents are batting just .188 against him.

The Vikings return to action this Thursday, hosting Concordia University-Chicago at 3:00 PM.
