D3football.com Team of the Week

North Park sophomore linebacker Chaun Maiava was recognized as a member of the D3football.com Team of the Week Tuesday.

Maiava, a native of Tafuna, America Samoa, finished with 12 total tackles, including nine solo, in the Vikings' 23-16 victory over host Concordia University Wisconsin Saturday. In addition, Maiava garnered three tackles for a loss and had two sacks for a total 8 yards.

North Park (1-0) returns to action this weekend when it hosts St. Norbert College for a 1 p.m. contest at the Holmgren Athletic Complex.
