Although weather conditions weren't as ideal in Wisconsin as they were in Chicago Saturday, the North Park track and field team still withstood the elements and finished strong at the Wisconsin Lutheran Warrior Invitational in Milwaukee.

Freshman Miranda Gomez chronicled two awesome performances finishing third place in the Women's 1 Mile Run and fourth in the 800m. Zoe Larson, Kathleen McCarrick and Mia Larson all joined Gomez for Top 10 finishes in the 1 Mile Run as well.

Olivia Dwight also boasted two solid finishes in both the hammer throw (5th) and javelin (6th) events. Sarah Tenglin joined her with a fifth place finish in javelin.

On the men's side, Saul Lopez (4th) set the pace and Isaac Bauer took 10th in the 800m. Dave Anderson finished second in both the discus and hammer throw and freshman Matt McNamara joined him with a fourth place finish in discus.

Drew Gapsch rounded out the men's performances with a seventh place finish in javelin.

North Park returns to action the weekend of April 25-26 at the Beloit College Relays.
