ABCA Top 25 National Poll

The North Park baseball team earned a Top 25 national ranking in the American Baseball Coaches Association poll released Wednesday afternoon.

North Park debuted at No. 24 in the national poll. They currently have a 23-7 overall ranking.

“We've been in one of the two national polls every week for the entire season, and in both for most of the season,” said seventh-year head coach Luke Johnson. “It's nice to continue to receive national recognition, but our sights are set on playing good baseball.  That's all that matters right now, and we need to stay focused on what we will do, not what we have done. “

The Vikings have also been consistently ranked in the D3Baseball.com Top 25 national poll throughout the season.

North Park returns to action this weekend for a three-game set with College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin opponent Illinois Wesleyan starting Friday night at 7 p.m. in Bloomington.
