North Park Viking basketball is now live online!

All remaining North Park men's and women's home basketball  games, starting with this weekend's men's basketball contest against Trine University, will be live-streamed via www.northpark.edu/Live. Play-by-play announcer Greg Sager returns for his third season at the mic to bring you all the exciting North Park basketball action.

The North Park men's basketball team is looking to extend its three-game winning streak after a solid 70-53 victory over visiting Eureka College Wednesday night. The Vikings were led by 5-foot-11 freshman guard Ryan Hyrn, who poured in a game- and career-high 22 points as he connected on 8 of 14 shooting, including six three-pointers in the win. Three different Vikings finished with double-doubles in the game, a first for the program, led by junior Aaron Weaver with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Senior Mark Holmes finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds and freshman Chris Benjamin added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

During their current winning streak, North Park is averaging 74.6 points per game and holding their opponents to under 62 points per game.

The Vikings face Trine University at 2:00 pm on Saturday. Trine has won three of its last four games, bringing an overall record of 4-2 into the contest.
