The North Park women's soccer team played to a 0-0, double overtime tie against Millikin University in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action Saturday night.

North Park controlled the tempo, and the offense for most of the contest, which was evident in the shots total as the Vikings out-shot Millikin 14-8, but NP just couldn't finish on its chances unfortunately.

Sophomore forward Emma Lundeen tried to create a chance for herself just before halftime when she dribbled between two defenders and made some space between her and the Millikin keeper Natalie Robertaccio, but Robertaccio deflected Lundeen's shot diving to her right to keep the game scoreless.

Equally as strong was North Park keeper Katie Ibarra, who preserved the shutout in the 55th minute when she deflected Brittany Rohling's penalty kick after the Vikings were called for a handball in the box. Ibarra finished the game making the lone save and played all 110 minutes.

North Park (4-6-1, 0-2-1) returns to action Wednesday night when it hosts Elmhurst College at 5 p.m.
